Through the health manager Mariano Avio, A.S Volley Lube communicates the first updates on the conditions of the red and white center Simone Anzani after the withdrawal of the Italian national team in Val di Fiemme. The athlete will carry out further checks to complete the clinical-diagnostic path already started for a suspected cardiac problem.
Mariano Avio (health manager of Lube Volley): “Before having a clearer picture of the situation, we have to wait for the outcome of all the tests requested and prescribed by Coni, including genetics, on which we will know more by the end of August. We are confident , Simone will come out of this umpteenth test. He is a great man, a true fighter, he will also put this moment behind him. We are close to the athlete, we understand his suffering in having to face all this on the eve of the European Championships, but we are certain that Anzani will get up again and will be a point of reference for the national team next year at the Olympics and for Lube already in the 2023/24 competitive season”.
