“My work has evolved over the years and from just entering data it has become something more complex, relating to the analysis and study of both the opponents and our team. Experience helps to have better feedback and to give increasingly precise information for our work in the gym but also in preparation for competitions”.
This is how the official scoutman of Kemas Lamipel S. Croce, Matteo Morando, describes his role, ready for the 16th season in red and white, once again in the A2 Credem Banca tournament. A more unique than rare relationship, that of Morando with the Wolves, within a world where teams and technicians rotate rapidly. A long history of mutual trust that has allowed the scoutman to become a real institution of the Pala Parenti, train new statisticians (the collaborators Finisini and Frangioni) and collaborate all the way from the Camps to logistics up to the actual “bench” .
Without this detracting from the charm of the umpteenth season about to start: “Now we’re here, I’m ready for the new season with the Wolves. We will work to get the most out of our team. Sorry for those who give up but the Wolves are there and want to go on”.
With an inevitable thought of the past season, more sweet than bitter but still tiring, amidst great enthusiasm, an important result (play-off semi-final) and a few slips (Coppa Italia): “Like every season, it left very positive aspects and, at the same time, details and things that could have been done better. But in the end the balance sheet is satisfactory, we fought until the end”.
Matteo Morando will collaborate with the head coach Michele Bulleri and with the deputy (and D.S.) Alessandro Pagliai. A three-pronged team that did very well in last year’s finale and that everyone believes can repeat itself with a renewed and intriguing team.
