After months on the sideline due to a serious Achille injury, Swiderski was ready and he made his 2009-10 debut in the Champions League game against Budva. However, he slightly sprained his ankle which delayed his full comeback. Last week, though, he played against Bled and he’s finally ready to face the final rush of the season.
“Bad luck, this ulterior problem complicated things – said the Polish spiker – But I’m fine now, I’ve been training normally with all my teammates for a while now. It’s normal to be a bit careful, but I’m certainly not the type who doesn’t give it all”. Then he talked about the Champions League exit “The elimination was very disappointing, especially for me because the Final Four will be held in Poland. I would have loved to play such an important event in my country with the Macerata shirt on. But life goes on, we’ll focus on the league, a target extremely important too”.
