Cisterna Volley continues to take shape, the Pontine team preparing to face the next Superlega season at the arena in via delle Province in Cisterna. Cisterna Volley took part in the Bologna Volley Market where it presented the list of players who will be entrusted to coach Guillermo Falasca then, in the past few hours, it also added the Serbian spiker Pavle Peric, a player who will be available to the Spanish coach from the first day of the championship scheduled for October 22 against Trento.
«I’m quite happy with how things are going, with how we’re completing the team given that we’re still missing a second setter and a central player but we’re already on very clear paths and we’re working to close them. If all of this goes through, I can say that we’re an interesting, motivated team with significant growth potential – clarifies coach Guillermo Falasca, still on vacation but clawing at the thought of being able to start physical training – What team have we built? There are important and young players who can still grow a lot. I’m sure that with a little patience and a lot of work we can play a good championship, this is because I expect a growing season and I really want to start working with the guys. We know what the objectives of our preparation are, we have already started working on the dates and we still need to better understand the arrival of our players since some will be involved in the Olympic qualifiers, while others will play the European championships and obviously they will be available to us at different times. The sooner we have the players available, the easier it will certainly be to create a training concept that is valid for everyone».
The setter is Davide Saitta, while the spikers are the Turkish Bayram Efe, the Spanish Jordi Ramos Ferragut, the Serbian Pavle Peric and the young azzurro Alessandro Finauri. The opposites are the French Theo Faure and the Austrian Michael Czerwinski while in the middle there are Andrea Rossi and Daniele Mazzone. The liberos are Alessandro Piccinelli and Saverio De Santis.
