Vice president of Emma Villas Siena Fabio Mechini joins the board of the Serie A Volleyball League. This morning at the Centergross Hotel in Bentivoglio, a few kilometers from Bologna, the ordinary assembly of the Legavolley was held and the votes were held.
Mechini therefore enters the board of directors: it is an important professional and personal recognition and at the same time a recognition of the work carried out by the Sienese company, which has reached its tenth year of activity and has been permanently present in Serie A tournaments for years.
“I feel great emotion, it is an honor but at the same time a burden – declares the vice president of Siena, Fabio Mechini. – It is the second time that we have joined the Lega council, the first time it happened with President Giammarco Bisogno in 2018. For us this is a beautiful step, personally it will be a great and rewarding commitment that fills me with pride “.
Mechini again: “In recent years we have experienced some ups and downs as a company – are his words – but at the basis of everything there has always been a very concrete structure, a president, a property. This characteristic is recognized to us at the Italian level, just as the new path we are undertaking at the moment is recognized”.
There are three new figures elected in this morning’s ordinary assembly of the League: Fabio Mechini (vice president of Emma Villas Siena), Gabriele Costamagna (president of Puliservice Acqua San Bernardo Cuneo) and Franco Da Re (general manager of Belluno Volleyball).
The first two, elected to represent Serie A2 Credem Banca, took over from Filippo Maria Callipo and Angelo Agnelli, as their teams (Vibo Valentia and Bergamo) will not take part in the next Serie A2; Franco Da Re will instead represent Serie A3 on the board in place of Sergio Di Meo (not re-electable as President of WOW Green House Aversa, who will play Serie A2).
The board of directors of the Serie A Volleyball League will therefore be composed of the President Massimo Righi, Bruno Da Re, Stefano Fanini, Lucio Fusaro, Albino Massaccesi, Stefano Santuz, Gino Sirci, and the three directors elected today Fabio Mechini, Gabriele Costamagna and Franco Da Re.
