Compared to the last A3 championship, there is no longer Virtus Fano (which arrived first in the regular season). And not even Volleyball Macerata (third), as well as San Giustino (club that has set up a thick staff): three excellent, high-ranking formations that have made the rhinos suffer – and not only them – in the last few years under the net. The trio, in reality, remains in the third series in order of importance, however it has been diverted to the other group, while Belluno Volley remains in the white.

Will it be a slightly more tender championship, without the two from the Marche region and the Umbrian collective? Don’t worry, the equation is far from immediate. And the general manager, Franco Da Re, explains it clearly: «After the latest rumors, we somewhat expected that the white grouping would have outlines of this type. But, be careful, it is a far from easy group, as it may appear at first glance. Because it is true that at least two, three very good teams have been moved to the south, but it is equally true that we will find ourselves facing teams with important values and equipped to play a good tournament».

Da Re, however, wants Belluno Volleyball to focus exclusively on its own path: «If you have ambitions, and as we know we do, we must not observe too much which sextets appear in our group and which do not. Also because, by now we know, no opponent should be faced with fluency or you risk getting burned. The reality is that the entire A3 Series is growing in level. And that to aim high we must grow progressively». There is curiosity for the tandem of Sardinian formations, formed by Cus Cagliari and Sarlux Sarroch: «We will have two trips to face by plane – concludes the general manager – and some more logistical difficulties, but we will gladly face the away matches in Sardinia».
