His nickname is “Fox” and plays the role of middle blocker: Leonardo Focosi, 202 cm and born in 2000, is a new player of Virtus Fano who will serve Paolo Tofoli and Simone Roscini.
Former Grottazzolina, where in the last two years he obtained a promotion to A2 and salvation, the player from Pescia does not hide his satisfaction with his landing in Fano: “I can’t wait to come, I’m enthusiastic about the square and I have so much desire to do well”.
Specifically, the new virtussino is a lover of speed, both from a technical point of view considering that “I like to attack the first times and I consider myself a decent hitter” and from the point of view of other passions such as “engines at 360°, cars or motorcycles they are indifferent”.
Focosi has a great thirst for revenge after being employed little last year in Serie A2: “I came from a few years in which I have always played and even with Grottazzolina I won a promotion as a protagonist, last year instead I was little employed and for this reason I can’t wait to take the field with Fano and play my cards”.
Then “Fox” reveals a little more: “I like being part of a group – concludes Focosi – and feeling part of the same. I’m extroverted and quite “badass” (he says it laughing), I’m convinced of the Fano project and I want to be an integral part of it”.
