The three-day Volley Market organized by the Serie A Volleyball League and the first official act of the 2023-2024 season of Italian volleyball and Sir Safety Perugia kicks off tomorrow Tuesday 11 July at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, near Bologna.
The traditional meeting that opens the sporting year of men’s volleyball will naturally see the Perugian delegation “led” by President Gino Sirci present. The Juventus number one will be accompanied by the Sporting Director Goran Vujevic and the General Manager Benedetto Rizzuto who will arrange for the formal enrollment of the players (closure for the Superlega scheduled for Wednesday 12 at 17:00) and will participate in the various scheduled matches including the Board of Directors and the Lega Assembly.
The Juventus communication office will also be present in Bologna and will participate in the Media Day, the meeting traditionally dedicated to the press offices of the Superlega and Serie A2 and A3 teams.
Thursday afternoon starting at 14:30 the “2023/24 Season Presentation and Calendars”, the main event of the three days which, among guests, artists and awards, will officially kick off the 79th Credem Banca Serie A Championship with the possibility to follow the day-to-day calendar on Sir Safety Perugia’s official social channels to find out about the Block Devils’ seasonal progress.
THE BLOCK DEVILS AT THE VNL FINAL EIGHT
Six Block Devils will be protagonists in the Vnl Final Eight scheduled in Gdansk in Poland from 19 to 23 July. The elimination phase ended with tonight’s final matches, which decreed the fantastic eight that will compete for the first trophy of the season reserved for national selections. A lot of black and white at the kermesse in Poland, in fact the Italy of Giannelli and Russo, the Poland of Leon and Semeniuk, the Brazil of Flavio and the Slovenia of Ropret have detached the pass for the event. These are the pairings of the quarterfinals: United States – France, Italy – Argentina, Japan – Slovenia, Poland – Brazil.
