After two seasons as an intern in the first team, Edoardo “Dodò” Lanci is finally ready for the big step. Sieco Service Impavida Ortona then the vice-Ferrato directly from the youth sector promoting Edoardo Lanci officially to the first team.
The line of setters therefore continues given that the father, coach Nunzio and the uncle, historic captain of the Impavida Andrea, have reached important heights in this role.
After playing in the regional Serie C championship and the Under 19 category tournament, for the second consecutive year, Dodò moved to the USA where he played and won the SCAV (South California Volleyball Association) Under 18 championship with the “Force 1”.
The joy of victory adds up to the joy of a phone call received from Italy: “I was still in California when they called me to propose it to me,” says Edoardo Lanci. «I could only accept with enthusiasm to take part in such an important project. There will be many young people and I am convinced that this is the best context to grow both from a technical and personal point of view.
