Fifth confirmation at the DRL Volley Team: after Maccabruni as setter, Gonzalo Martinez who went from libero to hammer and the Mozzato-Stufano duo in the middle, the club chaired by Sandro Da Rold announces the renewal of Stefano Antonio Guolla. The opposite 21-year-old, born in Germany but to all intents and purposes from Belluno, wants to continue along a path of growth which, in a short time, took him from Serie D to A3: «I am very grateful to the club for its seriousness and commitment, goals and attention to small details».
Guolla has just archived a championship marked by 12 appearances, 22 sets played. And a performance to remember: the one against Geetit, in Bologna, where he scored 4 points with 80 percent in attack. «Last season we grew a lot – he continues -. We’ve had some ups and downs, it’s true. And we saw it in some important performances, but all in all it went well. Even from the outside it was noticeable how united the group was. On a personal level? I feel improved in almost all the fundamentals of the game: unfortunately anxiety and tension are my weak points, but I’m working on my character to eliminate them”.
The opposite will spend the summer between tournaments and sessions in the gym: “I want to be ready for the resumption of activity”. In the meantime, an important roster is being born: «I like the team, it has definitely strengthened and is solid in every role. We are a battleship and I can’t wait to get started.” The athlete, who blossomed in the Spes youth sector, will be Fabio Bisi’s deputy: «I will give 200 percent, both on and off the pitch. I’ll try to offer my contribution, to make people understand that I’m here too and that my teammates can count on me for anything.” Guolla has clear ideas: «I want to keep growing and improving in every aspect, trying to be as aggressive as possible. I’ll do everything to be helpful.”
