The growth of the young libero class 2003 continues in Macerata, who is preparing to start his third season in red and white. Originally from Ancona and son of art, Ravellino stood out with the Volley Game Falconara shirt in Serie C before accepting the call from Med Store Tunit. In these two years he has had the opportunity to train and play together with highly experienced players and grow alongside one of the senators of the Macerata team, the libero Gabbanelli.
“I know that the club believes in me and in the youngsters”, explains Jacopo Ravellino, “Even the new coach Castellano pays close attention to players like me who need to grow. My goal is to carve out my space in the team, continue to learn and demonstrate my value to a club that has trusted me. I’m lucky enough to be able to play together with Gabbanelli, who is a free player with great experience, and I would like to be able to reach his levels over time. In addition, I know the club well, there is a great organization behind it, worthy of the Superlega, and they are all always ready to meet our needs to make us work at our best”. What do you think about the team instead? “I’m happy with some of the comebacks, like Lazzaretto and Scrollavezza. I’ve always had a good time with them and I’m pleased with the arrival of other young players like Penna. A good team is forming and I’m sure we can have an excellent championship”.
