Pedro Putini will continue to be the setter of Avimecc Volley Modica.
The Brazilian, despite the many rumors about other clubs, has decided to remain in the shadow of the Conti castle and to be part of the team that will have to redeem the season that has just ended which was below expectations for the Modica team which however is managed to preserve the category.
With Putini, Avimecc Volley Modica ensures one of the best setters in the category on which it will be able to build a competitive team to do well in the next A3 series championship which is rising year after year.
“I am very happy to stay in Modica – declared Pedro Putini – because I had a good time in Modica. I was well received by the city, by the club and by all my team mates. The A3 series is a very difficult and balanced championship which is becoming more and more competitive year after year and I hope that the last season has served us as a lesson because we had great difficulties. In the end we managed to get saved and I hope that the next championship will be better than the one just concluded and I think there are the conditions to get some good satisfaction. Last year – he continues – we suffered a lot from the lack of regularity. In fact, we have almost always achieved good results at home, but away from home we have not been able to do what we were able to do at the “PalaRizza”, if we manage to reverse the course away from home, we will certainly be part of the medium-high ranking. The fact that the leadership has once again bet on me – concludes Pedro Putini – is a major incentive for me. I am happy with the trust placed in me and I will always try to be an example both on and off the pitch. I will try to pass on my experience to my teammates and I will try to repay the club’s trust with results on the court.”
