The first reconfirmation in the Reggio roster arrives for the 2023/2024 season: Lorenzo Sperotto will still be the director of Conad Reggio Emilia.
Lorenzo, born in 1999, chose to stay in Reggio Emilia and says he is very happy with his decision: “I am happy to wear the Reggio Emilia shirt for another year in the A2 league championship; I thank the club and coach Fanuli for giving me this opportunity. The main reason that prompted me to stay is the closeness of the public and the club at a time when things weren’t going the right way, for this reason I think the city of Reggio deserves a different championship than in the past and this, for me, is certainly a great stimulus”.
Sperotto boasts great experience in the Serie A2 championship, in fact he is in his sixth season in A2 but not consecutive, because from 2020 to 2022 he wore the colors of Itas Trentino: “Last season was very complicated but the hard work in the gym and above all the extraordinary strength of the group meant that we conquered this beautiful salvation. I therefore hope that this will help to face every game next season with the right character and personality, knowing that every point is important right away.”
