Well-deserved rest for Vero Volley Monza 2022/2023, officially on vacation after having given herself, in the last match of the season played on May 13 in Perugia, against Sir Safety Susa, the last precious joy: the 3-2 victory and the consequent pass for the CEV Challenge Cup 2024. For the third time in its history Monza will therefore play a continental competition, as already happened in 2018/2019, when the Monza from Brianza lost in the final of the CEV Challenge Cup against the Russians of Belgorod, and in 2021/2022, closed with the historic triumph in France against Tours in the CEV Cup (second most important cup and first European title for True Volleyball in the men’s sector).
The team led by Massimo Eccheli (third consecutive season on the Monza bench for him) managed once again to amaze its fans, hitting their seasonal goal against all odds by overcoming battleship Perugia in the Final for 5th place , able to close the regular season undefeated and become world champion in between.
