The actors on stage are the ones who get the applause, but behind the fantastic guys who triumphed in Serie A3 there is an underground world made of work, dedication and passion that helped make the dream of returning immediately to the second national series come true.
And if the engine of this SIECO proved to be resistant and reliable, applause certainly goes to the Staff of athletic trainers led by Paolo Cieri and Marco Maselli. “When Impavida’s collaboration proposal arrived on the table, we had no hesitations. Although it would have been the very first experience in the world of volleyball, after so many years dedicated to football, my staff and I immediately agreed in accepting this new challenge to face together”. Paolo Cieri says. Marco Maselli: «We should have approached it in a completely different way to what we were used to and it was precisely this aspect that stimulated us and in retrospect, I can say that we managed quite well. We managed to maintain a fairly constant state of form of the athletes throughout the season, even managing to gain excellent physical shape precisely for the crucial final phase of the championship. An obligatory thanks to Coach Nunzio Lanci, who gave us carte blanche right from the start without ever interfering with our work, to the physiotherapist Fabio Piantini, indispensable for monitoring the physical conditions of the team on a daily basis and to the guys who trusted us training every day by great professionals. A special mention goes to the trainer Cosimo Mongelli, for his constant presence and precious collaboration». Cieri also has words of esteem for the club: «We are also grateful to the club and to all the professionals who welcomed us in the best possible way, making us feel immediately at home. We are already working for the future, with the hope of being able to continue to obtain many satisfactions together».
