Coach Gatto “Aiming high”

“Physically and athletically speaking, we are not in a great moment of form – said coach Gatto – We had a rather tough start to the second half of championship. We faced Castellana Grotte in the first round and played a good game. Then we had Massa home with three players out, one of the three subs had never played and the two others little, let say the response has not been too bad. We won 3-2, although we were still a bit disappointed not to have sealed it at 3-0. On Wednesday we lost 3-0 against Crema in the Italian Cup quarter finals. We had still a couple of players out, like Scappaticcio. I don’t think the team played that bad, Crema had an excellent performance. On Sunday, we’re facing Mantova and then we’ll play important games to qualify for the playoffs. At the beginning our target might have been to finish in the top 10 but given our current situations, we will be aiming a little bit higher now”.
