Bassano’s reaction crashed against Crema’s serve, which confirmed to be a team of another level in its gym. Led by the usual Cazzaniga, the hosts reacted fiercely after the loss of the first set, winning the following three with authority. Still, coach Cretu can be satisfied with Bassano’s performance as his team showed some improvement. David and Tamburo were the main men, helping not only to win the first set but also to offer good resistance in the third and fourth. Bassano stands now third from bottom and will face another team fighting to stay up in the next round: Città di Castello.
