The four consecutive successes, the two most recent before and after the break in the direct clashes against Belluno and Savigliano, have allowed the gialloblù to climb to sixth place two days from the end of the White Group of the Serie A3 national championship Credem Banca but the small margin over the closest pursuers and a calendar that is not among the easiest (on 2 April there will be the Mirandola derby, in full swing save) prevent any kind of calculation and relaxation. “The initial goal, being our debut in the category, was to reach safety and we have already succeeded, as we have done all year round, we go on day by day focusing on the new goal of staying in the Play Off area”.

“Our strength is humility, we worked hard every day in the gym and I think we are still improving”.
How are you preparing to face Pineto?
“Surely what awaits us on Sunday is a very difficult game, Pineto is one of the strongest teams we’ve met during the year: they have a lot of experience, they’ve just won the Italian Cup and they’re still fighting for first place and to try and climb as high as possible. Soon. And also the next engagement with Mirandola will be very difficult, in the first leg we won in the tie-break and they could play for salvation against us: they are a team with a lot of talent, who improved a lot in the second round. Neither game is easy.”
Is the air of great volleyball coming back to PalaRaschi?
“This is a good inspiration, my mother (Lucia born and raised in Parma) often came to the arena and told me how it was as a child, we remain humble hoping that day after day we can eventually aim for those levels as well”.
