Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza also for the 2021-2022 season has continued in the E-Co2 Free Energy project to continue making a contribution to the reduction of emissions and for environmental sustainability.
A project in which Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza took part both as a first team and as a youth sector. The project was launched in 2018 and in 2019 Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza became the first Italian sports club certified “Carbon Neutral”, an important recognition, released thanks to the verification of the certifying body Bureau Veritas Italia according to the ISO 14064 standard, and obtained in collaboration with Carbonsink, a consultancy company that supports companies on the Italian market in managing carbon dioxide emissions.
A path that has seen and sees Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza committing to the reduction of harmful emissions after a careful analysis of the activities that determine the production of carbon dioxide thanks to the adoption of behaviors aimed at reducing emissions, such as the use of cars and stainless steel water bottles refillable from water dispensers, and offset the remaining quantities of CO₂ by purchasing carbon credits.
