Verona was back in the gym this afternoon following their nice weekend win over Forli. “We got off to a bad start in the first set – said spiker Kovar – we are often tense at the beginning at home but then we loosened up and we did well to comeback in the third. Bit by bit, we managed to take control of the game. Then, it was a lot easier in the fourth as Forli clearly faded”. In order to try to qualify for the Italian Cup, Verona has to pass the tricky test of the Macerata court now. “This is a fundamental game, we have to get points to get some hopes to get in the cup”.
