Your current physical condition? “I’m coming from a knee problem, but I grit my teeth and I’ll try to do everything possible between now and the break on March 12, but when we go towards the end of the season, aches and pains are part of our job. So we have to survive, not think about it and go on until the rest session and then recharge the batteries in view of the three final races”. Now that the finish line of salvation has been crossed, are there the conditions to aim for the play-offs? “Yes, now that we have put the fundamental objective in our pocket, we can play more calmly, with a clear mind and with the awareness that we have done our thing. Without a doubt, it would be nice to end the year with qualification for the play-offs and I say we can do it.” Will the Belluno-Savigliano-Pineto triptych, which starts next Sunday, be decisive? “I look at the calendar as a whole: we have two direct competitors in Belluno and Garlasco on the last day, then Savigliano at home and away in Pineto, which we should face with the typical attitude of those who have nothing to lose, because the favorites are they. At the same time, we have Mirandola at home, who shouldn’t be underestimated, which means that we will still have to give 100% every time.
