Tinet Prata has always stood out for its foresight. For the association chaired by Maurizio Vecchies it has always been important to plan one’s future well in advance and not be caught unprepared and at the mercy of events. For this reason it was decided to put the first, indeed the first two, pieces on the mosaic that will make up the Tinet 2023-2024 season. It is therefore with great satisfaction that the gialloblù club can announce today the confirmation also for the next season of Dante Boninfante and Samuele Papi on the gialloblù bench.
For Dante Boninfante it will be the third season on the Prata bench after taking over the current season in 2020-2021. Results speak for him (a championship and a Serie A3 Italian Cup), but not only. Also the fruitful work in close contact with the general and sports management and the management of a team group in continuous growth and improvement.
“I wanted to give continuity to a project that started a season and a half ago – says Dante Boninfante after signing – with the help of the management and DG Sanna we tried to give a significant footprint. Last year’s results were excellent and those of the current season are good. The idea is to prolong the project trying to improve. Continuity is given by the mutual trust that exists between the staff and the company in a relationship of respect and collaboration and this allows you to work serenely. Serenity must lead us to confirm this year’s results and to try to take steps forward, both from a competitive and organizational point of view. The corporate idea of not stopping and looking ahead is fuel that always gives new stimuli. And that’s what we’re all looking for.”
Since March 2022, Samuele Papi has also been his trusted squire who, on the first official bench at Tinet’s house, immediately hit the finish line of the Italian Cup. With Boninfante he forms a close-knit and competent working group. Not that there were any doubts about it, but the merit of Dante and Samuele was to immerse themselves, after a career as champions, with great humility and dedication in a new role.
“There are many reasons for continuing together – underlines Samuele Papi – first of all I have to thank the club with which I got on well.
