Maikel Cristobal Cardona, the big Italo-Cuban middleblocker could be the one player Cavriago was waiting for. He would cover the position left vacant by the injured Oreste Luppi, who will be out from 2 to 3 months. Cardona had a career at the highest level, with 11 seasons in the Italian league, always in the elite: Ravenna, Cuneo (5 years and important trophies), Piacenza, Modena and Latina. Last season, he was at Forli, where he played alongside Eugenio Dolfo. Both the club and the players are hoping the deal can be sealed soon.
