Giani’s boys march on

Thanks to a brilliant performance, Roma came back from Gioia del Colle with a 3-1 victory (28-30, 25-23, 25-21, 25-19) and marches on at the top of the division. Giani had to do without Zaytsev who was not feeling well just a couple of hours before the game. He was substituted by Segnalini, who was emotionally affected in the first set, but from the second set on, the team from the capital found their stride. The next encounter will be on Sunday home against Città di Castello.
