On Sunday at 6pm, in the third round of the season, Gioia del Colle will host Mantova. Gioia can’t afford to lose more ground after conceding two consecutive defeats to open up its league campaign. Mantova’s situation is not that much better, with two points in the table gathered thanks to a tie-break win over Città di Castello. The two teams have only met twice in history, this was last season: Gioia had won it at home in the fifth set after over two hours of play, and it made the double away, once again at the tie-break.
