Loreto grabbed its first point of the season against Treviso (the three points were very close) but what matters is the great quality of the performance. Some people could not believe it when Loreto got off to a smashing start in the first two sets. One might be a bit disappointed for not having completed the win, but it’s definitely been a positive first outing.
“Shame because it would have been great to start the league with a win against such a strong team – said Van Dijk, MVP of the game – We paid the price for fading from the middle of the third set. Our level of play in the first two sets was really high and we have to build on that for the next few games”.
