Cuneo grabbed third place on Sunday at the Taverna Trophy. Following its 3-0 defeat against Taranto in the semi final on Saturday, Wijmans and co redeemed themselves with a tie-break victory over Verona (25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 29-31, 16-14). The trophy went to Crema who had the better of Taranto in the final.
