The Giallorossi’s debut in the Serie A2 2022/2023 Championship is upcoming. An anniversary to be celebrated like any self-respecting new beginning. Hence the idea of the “Giacinto Callipo” Volley Club to invite all the protagonists of the next competitive season to its headquarters to spend an evening dedicated to sharing, friendship and conviviality.
Smiles and applause to express the great enthusiasm that animates the entire Giallorossi environment just over two weeks after the first official match scheduled for October 9 in Basilicata against Cave del Sole Lagonegro.
So after the afternoon training session, the team and the staff of Tuna Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia reached the club headquarters in the city center, responding to the call from the Vibonese supporters.
The result was a pleasant evening at a friend’s house in completely informal tones.
To welcome the guests the President of the Club, Cristian Mazza, who explained: “We wanted this meeting to get to know each other and renew the bond with the team before starting together the journey towards the new season with the hope of being able to share many great satisfactions”.
Immediately afterwards, President Pippo Callipo, who has been leading the Giallorossi club for thirty years with great emotional and economic investments, took the floor: “We wanted to play the A2 without evaluating any other opportunities because that was what we were entitled to after last season we have not been deserving to the point of maintaining the category. In my life I have always acted in this sense and I have obtained positive feedback: we will continue to do what we deserve knowing that we must earn everything on the field so that no one can ever accuse us of the contrary. Our main job was to choose the right players to wear our jersey to represent us in this championship and we are convinced that they will give it their all. We also hope that luck will assist us this year … ”
Finally a request addressed to the members of the Club: “In addition to guaranteeing your precious support, I ask you to commit yourself to involve other people in our project so that the volleyball audience can increase. It would be nice to make even those who still know little about this sport passionate about the deeds of our team. “
