The young Greek athlete Andreopoulos Charalampos also reaches Taranto and his teammates of the Gioiella Prisma Volley for athletic training after the summer commitments with the Greek national team.
As the fifth week of work is about to end, Charalampos is therefore part of a group that is taking shape and continuity in athletic and technical work.
The first joint training session in Castellana Grotte against the ambitious home team that will play in the A2 championship is already scheduled for next week.
Andreopoulos, what are your first impressions of this group?
“I am very excited for this season. After the first training sessions I immediately realized that this group has a high potential. We have a mix of young talents and experienced players that I will be able to interface with. I was immediately able to see a high level of training and every day we improve more and more ”.
Do you like the athletic and technical work that is taking place in the preparation?
“Yes, Coach Di Pinto helps us a lot to take care of the technical details and that is why we are encouraged to improve day by day. I am sure that we will be ready at the start of the championship. ”
How did you find the city and its people?
“I find many similarities between Taranto and the way of life we have in Greece. The club and the teammates with whom I interfaced in these first few days were very welcoming and helped me to settle in: I can’t wait to meet all the other people who work in this club, I am sure that PalaMazzola will become a very hot place during the championship “.
