Vacation time is over. In fact, Massimo Eccheli’s Vero Volley Monza gathered today to begin the preparatory work for the 2022-2023 sports season, the ninth consecutive SuperLega Credem Banca.
Between happiness and enthusiasm for the restart of activity, which in these first days will be carried out in the beautiful and innovative Seven Infinity Sports Center in Gorgonzola, Thomas Beretta, Filippo Federici, Georg Grozer, Matteo Pirazzoli, Lorenzo Magliano, Vlad Davyskiba, Gabriele Di Martino and the young aggregate Gabriele Mariani, carried out the physical tests in the morning together with the athletic trainer Pietro Muneratti, the physiotherapist Cesare Zanardi and the massage therapist Davide Spinelli, and then devoted themselves to a weight session. In the afternoon, a session of beach volleyball is planned for the rossoblù, followed by a half day of work in the pool tomorrow. Waiting to embrace the athletes currently engaged with their respective national teams, from setter Fernando Kreling Cachopa, to central Gianluca Galassi, passing through spikers Denis Karyagin, Stephen Maar and Arthur Szwarc, coach Massimo Eccheli is sure to be able to count from Monday 29 August also on the addition of the second director, the Croatian Petar Visic and three other young people: Umberto Caporossi, Gioele Adeola Taiwo and Diego Frascio.
Meanwhile, to be ready for the first official championship appointment, set for Sunday 2 October away on the field of Sir Safety Susa Perugia, the Monza people are sure to compete in the “Volley under the Mucrone” Trophy, at the Pala Forum in Biella, on 24 and 25 September, together with Modena, Civitanova and Trento. The focus of these first weeks, however, will clearly be focused on physical preparation, whose work blocks until the beginning of October will be six, from Monday and Saturday, starting from Monday 22 August, the day on which the Brianza will return permanently to the Arena di Monza, while continuing to carry out the sessions on the sand and in the swimming pool in the well-organized structure of Gorgonzola.
