Mauro Gavotto is about to live his sixth consecutive season in Montichiari. He looks ahead and analyses the situation.
“Dragan Travica is a solid player. He’s young but has character and that is really important. And I have a good feeling with him in the national team, which should help. The squad has changed, is younger. I haven’t got much information of the Finnish players but Berruto does know them very well. Exiga is the libero of the French national team, he is a competitor. I like him, like Semenzato, with whom I have already played. Then , there is Buti, a player I thought was already interesting the only season we played together. He does have to recover from his shoulder injury but once it will be done, he will be one with a great potential. As for the players that will stay, their quality are already known and can’t be argued”.
