Volley 2001 Garlasco presented Giulio Romagnoli, an athlete born in 1998 who enriches the middle blockers sector of coach Bertini’s squad, joining the confirmed Giampietri and awaiting the presentation of a third first half interpreter.
The athlete from Fermo attacks his first ball at 16 and, after just three seasons between youth and regional championships, joins the A2 squad of Videx Grottazzolina, a club in which he remained until last year. In the 2021/2022 season he made his first experience outside the Marche with the Delta Group Porto Viro, a vintage that he describes as “a real awareness. I worked a lot, even physically, and volleyball has become a full-time commitment ”.
Physical work does not weigh on the central player from the Marches, who is used to exploiting his physicality and making attack his fundamental point: “I am an attacking middle blocker above all. I consider myself not very technical, I also believe due to the fact that I approached this sport late; so I express myself better in attack, rather than on the block ”explains the newcomer to the Garlasco home.
