Born in Lanciano on 9 July 2001 and who has always lived in Vasto, Di Tullio is by no means a new name for the volleyball world of Ortona.
Although he took his first steps in indoor volleyball with Enjoy Volley Vasto, Alessandro’s passion for this sport was born with Beach Volleyball. The spark that will bring the Vasto athlete closer to Sieco was born almost by chance. Di Tullio, at the time a young opposite of Enjoy Volley, was barely able to enter the Abruzzo selection for the Trofeo Delle Regioni. However, his talent was noticed by the Sieco Impavida Ortona technicians who snatch him from the parent company to take him straight to the Under sector of the Impavida.
The first satisfactions arrive with the white and blue colors. The victory of the under 18 and under 20 regional championships allows Alessandro Di Tullio to mature and gain experience by meeting other young champions from all over Italy on the occasion of the National Finals. In addition, Di Tullio is very successful in the Serie C Sieco and is often called to lend a hand to the greatest in Serie A2 training.
Despite his young age, it is now time for Alessandro to make the classic leap in the category and he therefore arrives two seasons with the Virtus Paglieta shirt in Serie B, where in the first year he also qualifies for the promotion Playoff phase.
