Thirty-year-old Simone Spescha signed for Taranto. The spiker will be the first option after Abbadi and Cleber. Last season, he played at Roma in A2. He came up in Cuneo and was in the first team when it won the Italian Cup, Cev Cup and Super Cup between 2001 and 2003. He also played for Gioia del Colle, Trieste in A1,Loreto, Forlì and Isernia.
