Montichiari reached an agreement with Simone Buti, who signed a four-year deal. Born in 1983, he made his pro debut with the club in 2006-07 before moving to Verona in A2. Last season he was back in the elite with Pineto, he realised 57 blocks and a good 60% in attack.
“To be back in Montichiari is like going back home for me – said Buti – This club gave me my chance in A1 and I learned a lot thanks to that first experience”.
