Modena added another important player to its roster with young Italian International Marco Cosimo Piscoppo. The middleblocker signed a three-year deal. Born in 1983, 205cm tall, he started to play volleyball at 14, and within few years he was already in B1 at Molfetta. He made it into the A2 with Santa Croce (best under23 of the league) and then into the A1 with Trento, where he won the league title 2008 and the Champions League last season.
“Modena has always been one of the big clubs in volleyball – said Piscoppo – As a kid I was a Modena fan. I started to support them when there was my idol Giani”.
