There is always a special feeling between Argentine athletes and Italy. From an international tourist destination like Ibiza to another like Sorrento: how did the negotiation come about, and what prompted you to choose Italy?
“It all started when mister Esposito and ds Ruggiero watched some Ibiza matches during the past season. I suppose a similar affinity comes from the fact that so many Argentines recognize descent from Italian ancestors. Personally, I feel the bond with Italy very strongly since I was born in Spoleto. It was a very easy decision to make, also because Italy is a very popular destination for any volleyball player “.
Have you ever been to the Sorrento Peninsula, do you already know the area?
“Yes, I got to know Sorrento for having been there on holiday in 2019. It struck me a lot because it is a beautiful city with very friendly people”.
You finished last season in Spain at the top of almost all performance rankings. What are your ambitions for your new adventure with the Folgore?
“For this new adventure with the green-and-white colors, I’m ready to work hard and give everything in every training session and in every match. I think it’s the only way to get good results “.
