The Top Volley Cisterna continues to hit the “green line” supported properly, however, by that pinch of experience that even in a 2002 can be useful and, perhaps, make a difference. Let’s talk about the Turkish hitter, Efe Bayram, last season at Halkbank Ankara vice-champion of Turkey. The new face of Fabio Soli’s training is one of the great promises of his country. Just take a look at his numbers to understand that beyond his young age, he is a well-built player: 257 points scored last season. With Top Volley Cisterna he signed an annual contract but with an option for the second.
What led you to choose Top Volley?
“There are many things that made me choose this fantastic club. Cisterna has a huge history of volleyball. I have known this club since I was a child, before it was called Latina. Last season, but also the previous ones, they tickled my desire to come and play there with you. Then when I was offered the opportunity to play for this fantastic club, I didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately said yes ”
This will be your first time in Italy. What idea did you have of the Superlega?
“It was my dream ever since I started playing volleyball. Every time I said to myself: ‘sooner or later you will play in Italy’. The Super League is definitely the strongest league in the world and now I will play there too. This is already giving me great motivation ”.
What do you think of your new team?
“The idea I’m getting is that of a great family. Last season I watched many games, recognizing the fact that all the players and the coach formed a solid group, ready to row on the same side and fight for the goals they deservedly achieved. For me all of this is something really good and important. I’m sure it will be like this next season too ”.
As far as is known, it seems feasible the possibility that in the next season the Top Volley Cisterna can also play in the Challenge Cup. Are you optimistic about this?
“The hope of being able to play in Europe is alive in me, it would be stimulating and positive for Cisterna’s team and environment. Playing in the Challenge Cup is always good. Different challenges, teams from other countries, cup victories. I hope this thing comes true ”.
