Federico Ciardo returns to where it all began, in his volleyball home in Aurispa Libellula. As a child he started playing in the youth teams of the Alessano Azzurra Volleyball, and then made his debut in 2019 in A2 with the then Aurispa Alessano. The following year he plays in A3 always with the same shirt to then be reconfirmed in the 2020/21 season, the one that will give light to Aurispa Libellula, expression of the collaboration between Alessano and Tricase.
Ciardo, 2003 class setter, winner of several titles with the youth teams, returns to the base to manage the direction of the Salento, after a year lived as a great protagonist with the Leo Shoes Casarano shirt always in Serie A3.
The agreement of sports director Antonio Scarascia with the player certainly takes its foundations from the director’s strong attachment to society and to the places where he grew up in volleyball and humanly, reinforcing himself with the will to make his qualities available, in the light of the experience gained in ‘last year.
