Modena reached an agreement with Venezuelan spiker Luis Diaz, who signed a two-year deal. Luis was born in Caracas in 1983 and is 196cm tall. He is still young but already experienced the international scene as well as the Italian league, with Vibo Valentia and Padova. He also played in Spain and Brazil.
“I’m thrilled, I know I made the right choice – said Luis – Modena is a club and a city with a great tradition, it is an honour for me to wear this shirt. I know this league is extremely competitive but I like the team we have. We have a lot of work ahead of us but I’m convinced we will have fun”.
