A gritty Vero Volley Monza takes just one point in its seasonal debut at the Del Monte® Junior League 2022, a competition that sees eight Under 20 teams from Serie A clubs on the pitch from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 June. Brava twice to recover the disadvantage, winning the second and fourth games, the team trained for the occasion by the technician of the Monza SuperLega flagship men’s team, Massimo Eccheli, is stopped at the tie-break, by Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce, in the first match of the Pool B.
The rossoblù, authors of a performance in any case of character and determination, will return to the field in the afternoon, this time on the central pitch of the event, the Allende Sports Hall in Fano, to face the Brugherio Chemical Range. Tomorrow morning, at 9.30, there will be the last match of the group against Kioene Padova, winning in the first match by 3-1 on the next opponents of Vero Volley. The first two of the two groups pass in the semifinal.
