Yuki Ishikawa, news of the day your confirmation for the third consecutive time with the Allianz Powervolley Milano shirt, can you tell us your first emotions?
It is the first time that I renew in the same company for the third consecutive year, I am very happy to stay in Milan, I am very happy with both the company and the city.
Since you arrived in Milan you have fully embraced the Powervolley project and your renewal is a confirmation of this union of intentions between you and the company, creating a synergy that grows season after season.
In the last two years I have grown a lot thanks to the work done with coach Piazza, with the technical staff and with my teammates, and I want to keep improving with this team.
The club wants to take a step forward and reach the big names starting next season and you would be a pioneer in this sense, do you feel in line with this goal? How high is the motivation?
I want to bring Milan among the big names. Last year we were good and we have always been very close to the top Teams, so next season we will have to position ourselves among the top four teams in the championship, and reach the semi-final play off championship.
The balance of the past season is certainly positive, what do you think?
This year we finished 5th in the regular season, but next year we have to move forward. I am very happy with what we have done, if I think about the semi-final of the Italian Cup it was the best result for me too.
