The compliments received from Massimo Righi, from the Volleyball League, guest in game 2 against Latina, was the ice on the cake. At the end of the game, which tied the series at 1-1 and forced a decider, chairman wanted to thank everyone for making this dream possible.
“We couldn’t have had an under-par performance for the last one in front of our fans, I was convinced my boys would do a great job. I have always had faith in them and their professionalism, even in the difficult moments of the season, because I knew the staff had made the right choices. We tried to convey enthusiasm and fighting spirit to our players and the coach, who is so passionate and who led us in this project in the past few years. I am proud to see that the boys acquired that spirit, as they have shown many times on court. I want to thank the fans as well for the great emotions they gave us, especially in the playoffs and I invite them to go to Latina to support us. If we were to achieve what everybody is hoping, it would really be unbelievable to be able to celebrate with them”.
