Bassano registered yet another brilliant performance away from home. It beat Mantova 3-1 and qualified for the playoffs semi finals, where it will meet Latina, who had the better of Crema in two games.
It proved to be a tough game. Mantova got off to a strong start, dominating the firsst set. However, just like in Dece,ber, Bassano needed just the time to settle down before taking over and winning the next three sets. Gitto shined with 16 points, including 6 blocks, while Tamburo deservedly got the Mvp award as he scored 20 points.
