Verona ended his season with a 3-2 win over Forli. One last satisfaction for the fans even though this was not enough to reach the playoffs.
“If we analyze the overall season we have to be satisfied – said libero Maurizio Latelli – We secured our place in the A1 with a few games in hand and we played at a high level for most of the season. We’re obviously a bit disappointed not to have made it to the playoffs because we spent most of the season in the top 8”.
