Not only did Latina go top of the league but it also qualified for the semi final of the A2 cup. The team kept going strong with a 3-1 win over Isernia in the quarter final return leg in the Cup.
“All in all, what was important was to go through – said coach Ricci – We might have struggled a bit, their starting six did not help us to keep high our concentration level but then we found our rhythm. We’ve worked hard and the most interesting moment is coming up. On Sunday we have to stay focused at home against Gioia del Colle, then we’ll think about the cup game against Santa Croce in Mantova”.
