Latina came back from Isernia with yet another positive result this season. On Wednesday night, Ricci’s boys dominated Isernia in the quarter final first leg of the cup, taking revenge as they had recently lost in the league against that same team. Captain Giombini shined with 19 points while young Luciano De Cecco had an excellent performance too.
“It was a nice game – said Luciano – this time it was my turn to do what Paolo had done on Sunday. This goes to show we’re a complete and united group. Now we’ll face Catania’s game with confidence, another important game as we want to keep up the good work’.
