Before the big league match against Trentino next Sunday, Macerata will first face a Champions League road game in Roeselare, currently last from bottom in the group. Macerata already qualified mathematically in the last game against Maiorca but this game could be decisive to take the first spot, as there are only two games left to play.

Macerata are on their way to Belgium with 4 Under20 players: setter Roberto Dibello (91), spikers Giovanni Maria Musillo (89) and Andrea Giavelli (90) and middleblocker Gianluca Piccinini (90). This will be a first for all of them in the main European competition.
