In the 1éth round of the Serie A1, Verona plays host to Piacenza at the PalaOlimpia gym at 6pm.
“We’ve always done well against the top teams – said middleblocker Andrea Semenzato – I think it could be a good opportunity to repeat the great performances we had against Treviso, Trento and Cuneo. We’re playing at home, and we have everyone back so it’s all positive. Piacenza has excellent players, physically strong too. They are excellent on the serve and in attack, but we are in good shape and really up for it because a win could get us into the Italian Cup, and above all it would mean another giant step towards our main target: staying up”.
