The Champions League 2008-09 is under way. On Thursday night, Italian champs Trento will make its first ever appearance in this competition hosting the Slovenian team of Bled (8.30pm). Stoychev’s team has just beaten Pineto, consolidating its first place in the table, which will help to approach this European game in the best possible way.
“This is our first game in this competition and we don’t know very well our opponent – Kaziyski explained – so we’ll have to be very careful. We’ll have to keep focuse during the whole game, keeping in mind that thee European games are a lot different than the league games, which are prepared with a full week of training. Still, we are confident and determined to take our first points”.
